Start The New Year Off With The Resolution Of Rejuvenation!

Woman on beach near Alouette Beach Resort

With the days being shorter and maybe the holidays leaving you feel a little burnt out, what better time would there be to take a minute to reset? Taking a winter beach vacation may be exactly what you need to start the year off refreshed.

With there being fewer crowds during the winter months, this means more beach for you! Let yourself get lost within what seems to be the endless ocean views, listen to the sounds of waves crashing, find the simplest of treasures – seashells nestled on the sandy shores, feel the fresh air filling your lungs, the smell that soothes you, be in the presence of sunshine that lights your path. The beach is pure bliss.

You can immerse yourself with nature by watching the seagulls frolicking the shoreline, snowy owls perched above the pier, take stunning photos of the sunsets or bring your snowshoes to explore trails. The winter months not only gives you more freedom, but your fury friend too. The beach is like an oversized playground to run, dig and of course play fetch.

The winter months provide for an experience to explore different than the peak season.  It’s easier to do just about anything and everything during this time and at a fraction of the cost. It may be the number one reason to travel to the beach during the offseason – same views at a discounted price and there’s no lack of parking spaces!

In addition, during the offseason there are mostly only the locals in town so you can get into restaurants without much of a wait. The locals love to chat it up and tell you about the hidden gems the town has to offer, whether it be the history of the town, best cup of coffee or where to catch live entertainment. Evenings overlooking the ocean are peaceful and quiet. The stars shine light on the vastness of the ocean before you. What a great way to get some perspective!

Be sure to check out our Sunrise Suites Winter Special when you’re making your reservations.
