Counting Down Until Our Next Stay at Alouette My wife and I have been staying at Alouette for the past six years, and each visit feels more like coming home. The suites are perfect for us — comfortable bedroom, convenient kitchenette, and a terrace with a beautiful view of the beach. One of our favorite parts of every trip is stepping right onto the sand each morning for a peaceful walk along the ocean.

The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to all of our favorite restaurants in Old Orchard Beach and the surrounding towns. The staff is consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming, making every stay even more enjoyable.

Leaving is always difficult, but we never go without booking our next visit. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Wing Song Beachfront Resort is the best in Old Orchard Beach! The Wind Song Resort is owned and operated by Alouette Beach Resort, so it’s no surprise that the staff is consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful.

The best units are #3 (king bed) and #4 (same layout with a queen) on the ground level, along with units #9 and #10 on the second floor. These are the true beachfront units—the ones with the unbeatable, panoramic views. We stayed in Unit 3 and enjoyed an unobstructed, million‑dollar view of the beach. Whether sitting at the dining table or relaxing in bed, the scenery was always spectacular and constantly changing. Beach access is only about 10 feet from the door, making it effortless to bring out our lawn chairs and sun tent for the day.

Housekeeping comes by every morning and is thorough, attentive, and reliable. The room itself is small but well equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. The compact kitchen includes a hot plate, microwave, and all the utensils and cookware needed to prepare simple meals. The bathroom is small but perfectly adequate for the two of us.

We’ve stayed in other Alouette Beach Resort units before, but after this wonderful four‑night stay in Unit 3, we’re completely sold on returning to Wind Song again and again for the perfect beach vacation.

Wow me and my wife loved it what a great view outside our hotel window beautiful very relaxing and I love the ocean as my wife does also ❤️

This is my home away from home and I look forward to staying there every year. I’m steps from the beach and can walk downtown in the evening. The rooms are nice, some better than others, but the overall atmosphere is just what I want- beachy!

One of my dreams came true when my sister and I stayed here in October - we had a room with a balcony almost right on the Atlantic Ocean. We could see and hear the pounding surf from our room! I had the most amazing rest that night.

What a fantastic place to stay. Right on the beach! I mean, the beach was literally right outside my door. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great pillows! Don't underestimate the value of good pillows. Breakfast was also really really good. You won't be disappointed, just book it. And I recommend getting oceanfront of it's available.

Jessica, front desk, and staff in the cafe, Missy, very friendly and helpful on local places to go and things to do. We were there in the off season so many things were closed, but Jessica helped us with ideas to help make our stay even more enjoyable. The location is beautiful with gorgeous sunrises and we were blessed with a full moon rising over the ocean, too. LL Bean, Portland, and Booths Bay, as well as all of the small towns south of OOB are easily accessible from there for a day trip.We will continue to stay at the Alouette on our yearly, or more, visits to Maine. We found Alouette Beach Resort last minute while visiting from Michigan. We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and the sunrise (and moonrise) views were breathtaking! Rates are quite reasonable.
Alouette is right in the middle and steps away from everything there is to see in Old Orchard Beach. Steps from the beach as well. Loved leaving the slider open and listening to the waves crashing into the shore.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to staying again.

The Alouette is perfectly located on the beach and our rooms had great views. The attached restaurant is great too! We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
