My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this resort; we brought our extended families and friends (a little over 40 people) here for two nights to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were spread out between the ‘Sunrise Suites’ and ‘Building A’, which are closest to the beach. We found the staff, especially Jessica, tremendously helpful in managing multiple reservations and planning the event with local catering. The accommodations, especially those in Sunrise Suites, were great – and provided direct access to the beautiful beach. If you prefer a pool to the ocean in the front yard, there’s a nice indoor pool. The cafe offers a phenomenal breakfast at very reasonable prices, served by some of the nicest people we’ve met. For that matter, every person on the Alouette staff, from housekeeping to maintenance (who helped set up umbrellas and shelters for the party) were exceptionally responsive and pleasant. The resort location is perfect – it is directly on the beach and close enough (10-15 min walk) to the Old Orchard Beach ‘Pier’ with its amusement area, shops, and restaurants – but far enough that it’s relatively quiet. Without exception, every person (at least 40) in our group felt the Alouette was a terrific place to stay and helped make a special occasion even more special.

We recently visited the resort and were completely blown away by the level of heart and soul the staff puts into their work.

A special, glowing thank you to Sweet Caroline. We were running extremely late, and what could have been a stressful arrival turned into a moment of pure relief thanks to her. Caroline is more than professional—she is a truly amazing human being. She greeted us with such genuine warmth and a wonderful, welcoming spirit that it felt like being greeted by a dear friend. Her kindness is infectious, and she is the absolute heartbeat of this resort!

We also want to share our gratitude for the two wonderful women who took care of our rooms. They were so incredibly helpful and super kind, going above and beyond to ensure every little detail was perfect.

Also the fantastic waitresses at the coffee shop. They started our mornings off perfectly with their friendly smiles and excellent service.

From the front desk to the housekeeping and the café, this team is exceptional. Thank you all for making our stay so incredibly special!

We stayed here last week and I while I usually don’t write reviews they truly deserve a good one. During booking, and in person, the staff were friendly, helpful and flexible. They really tried to get us the best accommodation they could for the best price. Greatly appreciated that!

We chose this hotel to be near the water and the rooms by the entrance to the beach are designed so that each room is angled toward the water and you can enjoy the view of the beach vs a view of the buildings straight across from you (not true of all rooms…ask about this) It’s a brilliant design.

For those (like us) who aren’t wild about the Old Orchard Beach Pier activities it is far enough away not to feel over close to all that but close enough to get there easily if you want.

The beach is right there and can offer a long walk in other directions.

The breakfast was fine and the service was fast.

Not a problem but no phone in the room. Have your cell phone as you have to call the hotel to get the front desk.

Overall, the best thing is how well we were treated by every staff member we encountered. Thank you.

My husband and I brought our two granddaughters with us for a 2-night stay at the end of April. We don’t love crowds, so Alouette was perfect. By chance, I chose a place that was perfect for me since I get around on a scooter 100% of the time. Our handicap accessible room with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows weren’t the very thick ones that crick your neck. I was elated to find out Aloutte had beach chairs with balloon wheels for people like me. Even my 9-year-old granddaughter could push me on the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to go back after the crowds have gone home. The only thing I wish it had was a view of the beach, other than the small view from the corner of the deck.

We have made two trips up this year and both times we stayed here. I was very happy with the price, staff, amenities, and just overall It has hit all of our marks as far as what we wanted and not killing our wallets. I will be returning again my next years more than likely for longer.

We just arrived today. The door to our room was very hard to open/close. I asked if we could have another room. Without any hesitation they put us in another room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I had a beach view, which was great to just sit and look at. My room was well furnished and had everything I needed. The staff was wonderful and very personable. I would definitely stay again.
