This month I am going to speak about some of the restaurants in Old Orchard Beach that are available after summer ends. It’s fun here in the evening especially because there are so many choices to choose from. There are plenty of restaurants to lounge in to include oceanfront restaurants/bars, laid back bars and even favorite local bars. Plus, the crowds have quieted down some, so the atmosphere is something to be sought after. Usually there is live music available just about every night in September & October in the Old Orchard Beach area.
Beach Vibes Bistro has live music just about every weekend and has a very chill vibe and beyond excellent food. The Apple Pie Nachos are simply the best I have ever personally experienced. This also is open year-round.
Jimmy the Greek’s has live music, open mic, specials, football specials and more. Open year-round they offer Greek grub, oven-fired pies & brews are served up at this buzzy joint with live entertainment that is posted on their Facebook page.
Now Pine Point Grill is simply something to rave about. The ambiance is tranquil and the food is to die for. It’s a relaxed, coastal-chic dining experience that serves fresh seafood, artisan pizzas, and locally sourced ingredients, fish & chips, lobster ravioli, meatballs with linguine, and strip sirloin.
Joseph’s by the Sea is a restaurant offering a unique oceanfront dining experience with both rooftop and indoor dining options, specializing in fresh, locally sources seafood, American/French cuisine, and a curated wine list. It provides a cozy, romantic, yet relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views of the coast, excellent service, and a menu featuring signature dishes like baked stuffed lobster and truffle fries, making it ideal for special occasions or a casual meal.
Grill 65 is a casual, trendy eatery offering an elevated pub fare menu that changes seasonally, plus cocktails are their specialty. They are located at Dunegrass Golf Course.
And of course I can’t go without saying the Alouette Beach Resort Cafe which is well renown for it’s delicious items from omelets to muffins to good coffee. The locals love it and tourists too. If I had my way I’d eat there every day!
This just is a few that are available in the area where you can dine or dance the night away during the shoulder season. The nights may be cool but the air is crisp and fresh and just beautiful in so many ways.
The Alouette Beach Resort is only a ten-fifteen minute walk to most of what is mentioned or within a five-ten minute drive. We are the perfect destination for your lodging needs because we provide a quiet atmosphere but close to the action as well. Book here for your cozy getaway! Hope to see you and tell us about your experiences!
