We’re here to make your stay smooth from start to finish—whether you need local recommendations, extra towels, help with your reservation, or just a friendly hello after a day at the beach.
So today, we’d love to introduce you to the people who keep everything running right at the heart of the resort. But first, let’s introduce you to the owners of the Alouette Beach Resort, Fred and Anne Kennedy. You can find Fred at the Front desk and Anne can be found Managing the Housekeeping staff. For over 25 years, Fred and Anne have welcomed guests to Alouette Beach Resort, right on Old Orchard Beach. Their commitment to maintaining a welcoming, comfortable place by the ocean is a big part of what makes Alouette feel like home—not only for our guests, but for our team as well.
They work hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is in place for a great season. We’re grateful for their support, their leadership, and the pride they take in making sure every guest experience is a superb one.
And of course our dog greeters, Ike and Rocky too!

The front desk is where everything begins. We’re the ones who greet you at check-in, answer questions throughout your stay, and help make sure your vacation goes as smoothly as possible.
Need restaurant ideas? Extra linens? Help finding the best lighthouse to visit? Looking for the best lobster roll nearby? Want to know where to catch the best sunrise in Old Orchard Beach? We’ve got you.
We like to say we’re part concierge, part problem-solver, and part local tour guide—always here to answer questions, make recommendations, and help take the stress out of your stay.
We also handle reservations, guest requests, and a million little details behind the scenes that help keep your stay stress-free.
Meet the team:
Peter is our Night Shift expert but also works 1-2 times a week at the front desk. Known for smooth check-ins and landscaping for most of the resort, he’s witty and very knowledgeable of the area. In fact, he is running a Guided Tour to Portland Head Light and Portland’s Old Port!
Jessica is the resort Operations Manager and profoundly dedicated to making your stay seamless. Known for attention to detail and great humor, she will make your stay seamless!
And of course, you’ll often find me, Caroline, here as well—always happy to say hello, answer questions, and help make your stay as relaxing as possible. Known for the Resort’s blog and behind the scene tactics and is always cheerful!

One of the best parts of working at Alouette is meeting the people who stay here. Many of our guests return year after year, and we truly get to know them over time. We’ve watched kids grow up, families expand, and vacation traditions continue across generations.
