Pine Point will once again be celebrating the 4th of July with our Annual Parade and “Fun Run” for kids (ages 3 to 13).

Registration for the Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m. at Engine 4 Firehouse, 12 King St.

The “Fun Run” begins at 8:45 a.m. from the Fire Station and will end ¼ mile down King St. to Hurd Park (the municipal parking lot, 64 King St). The kid who finishes first in the Fun Run will carry the American Flag and lead the parade. Every kid is a winner in our race and all will be presented with a very cool gold medal.

The Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. starting at Hurd Park and finishing at the Engine 4 Firehouse.

Prizes will be awarded for the “a unique or unusually creativley decorated”… child, bike, wagon, and dog in the parade. Those chosen will be announced at the end of the parade and receive their gift.

The winner of the Fun Run and the Grand Marshall will also be announced at the Fire Station.

Everyone is invited to enjoy complimentary traditional Strawberry Shortcake served inside Engine 4 firehouse.
