Topics for discussion are the best times of the year to find local medicinal and culinary mushrooms, ideal growing environments and what to look for in the forest, safe and thorough species identification and how to preserve and/or cook your mushrooms. There will not be any foraging during the program, rather, it is an educational program to learn about these fascinating organisms.
