This is my home away from home and I look forward to staying there every year. I’m steps from the beach and can walk downtown in the evening. The rooms are nice, some better than others, but the overall atmosphere is just what I want- beachy!

One of my dreams came true when my sister and I stayed here in October - we had a room with a balcony almost right on the Atlantic Ocean. We could see and hear the pounding surf from our room! I had the most amazing rest that night.

What a fantastic place to stay. Right on the beach! I mean, the beach was literally right outside my door. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great pillows! Don't underestimate the value of good pillows. Breakfast was also really really good. You won't be disappointed, just book it. And I recommend getting oceanfront of it's available.

Jessica, front desk, and staff in the cafe, Missy, very friendly and helpful on local places to go and things to do. We were there in the off season so many things were closed, but Jessica helped us with ideas to help make our stay even more enjoyable. The location is beautiful with gorgeous sunrises and we were blessed with a full moon rising over the ocean, too. LL Bean, Portland, and Booths Bay, as well as all of the small towns south of OOB are easily accessible from there for a day trip.We will continue to stay at the Alouette on our yearly, or more, visits to Maine. Thanks Jessica for always being that friendly voice and face that make it a great location for your get away.

My daughter and I have been here for 18 years & counting. This has become a traditional visit with a few inbetween visits during different times of the year. Absolutley amazing hotel. Terrific views of the beach,steps away from the beach.This hotel has a great varity of rooms to choose from, whether you are a family, couple or single (or even more than 1 family) they have a perfect accomodation for your needs.Many rooms have kitchens,sofa beds and are very clean. There is even an indoor pool for rainy days! This hotel has everything… laundromat,restaurant,b-b-q’s… We have stayed here 3 times and have not been disappointed! Great for families!
