Old Orchard Beach Hotel Reviews

We invite you to write a review of Alouette Beach Resort, our Old Orchard Beach oceanfront hotel! This was my 2nd year here and it was just as good as last year. It is close enough to the Old Orchard Pier, but far enough away that you don’t have all the noise. Before even booking I called for a few specific requests and Caroline was so helpful and accommodating. Once again, Jessica at checkin was so nice, and friendly! The rooms (and all the property’s areas) are very clean and well kept, beach was a couple steps away and the pool was also only a couple steps away! Ate at the cafe each day (which was busy) and was always greeted by Becky with a friendly smile to take my order and put everything I needed into my Togo order. I will be back again next year, you can tell by every employee you come across on the property’s that they definitely care to make your stay pleasant!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating... excellent location on a beautiful beach within walking distance to Pier and all the strip attractions and restaurants.. love that they are pet friendly! Thank you!

A special thank you to Caroline and Jess for a weekend spent in the sunrise suite. How we ended up in the beautiful spacious suite w a gorgeous view is not important. We enjoyed every moment. Huge sit in tub. Balcony is perfect for relaxing. Bed was cozy. There are dishes. All of the staff are very kind and accommodating. The cozy little cafe for breakfast is delicious but get there early or after 9. Beach access is right there and you can rent chairs and an umbrella. We had a lovely time and are so Grateful for how everything aligned.

This genuinely was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life, the hotel staff is so kind and helpful and was accommodating of everything I had to ask. I was so impressed by the owners they are husband and wife and I just absolutely loved everything about my stay. Me and my girlfriend have 2 dogs and they gave us a great dog friendly room looking right out on the beach, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. There is beach access right at the hotel, a great pool, they have their own restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable with AC and again dog friendly is huge. I am planning on coming back again and I would rate it higher if I could! They also have bikes and beach chairs available which is just amazing, it’s very close to the pier only a few blocks over so you could take the bikes and ride down no problem. This was the best beach hotel experience I’ve ever had and I couldn’t have been more happy.

We called the Hotel directly with no interference with a booking agent. Got a great price on a beach front room. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Rooms are right off the ocean. I would highly recommend staying here.

PERFECT GETAWAY

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was absolutely perfect. Right on the beach, and close to everything. We didn’t want to stay super close to the amusement park and shopping areas but did want them in walking distance. This was absolutely perfect. The room was very clean and the staff was excellent. When we first went to Old Orchard we were unhappy with the Hotel we chose, then we found the Alouette, this will be our third year returning to the Alouette. First of all Fred is very very nice. My emails are always answered right away, that to me is so important when planning my vacation. The rooms are very clean and well attended to during our visit. We love how it is family oriented, not party central. We will continue to return to The Alouette with our daughter and continue to build awesome family memories. The room was small but adequate and a stone’s throw from the beach for great walking and enjoyment of the ocean, which is why we came to Old Orchard Beach. For us Vermonters it’s a lot closer than Cape Cod, and fewer people off-season. We particularly like the fact the Alouette is dog friendly and even people without dogs seem to enjoy others’ canine companions, who were all well-behaved as were their owners. For our dog Jacques, it was a fnd remembrance from the spring visit and he began whining with excitement as soon as wee pulled into the parking lot. The real bonus was that the cafe there had excellent breakfasts!!! Too hard not to eat too much, but we loved it. Homemade muffins in variety right out of the oven !! Terrific “nest” egg dish. It’s also an easy walk to tour the downtown area and see the sights. Lots of good dinner restaurants near by and the whole Maine coast to explore. We had a wonderful time at your hotel. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was great. Charlie in the restaurant is a gem. Friendly, and what a cook. The homemade muffins were fantastic. Our room was steps away from the beach. Enjoyed walking the beach in the morning and evening. Sunrise was fabulous. Alouette Beach Resort in Old Orchard Beach is the place to stay. Not only is the staff extremly wonderful, they have an indoor pool so no matter what the weather or time of year can swim. Rooms are clean and up to date…..They even have their own little cafe where the food is excellent. My husband and I went for a weekend getaway and never stayed in an ocean front room. The view was excellent and it was so nice to be right on the water.
