Old Orchard Beach Hotel Reviews

We invite you to write a review of Alouette Beach Resort, our Old Orchard Beach oceanfront hotel! This was my 2nd year here and it was just as good as last year. It is close enough to the Old Orchard Pier, but far enough away that you don’t have all the noise. Before even booking I called for a few specific requests and Caroline was so helpful and accommodating. Once again, Jessica at checkin was so nice, and friendly! The rooms (and all the property’s areas) are very clean and well kept, beach was a couple steps away and the pool was also only a couple steps away! Ate at the cafe each day (which was busy) and was always greeted by Becky with a friendly smile to take my order and put everything I needed into my Togo order. I will be back again next year, you can tell by every employee you come across on the property’s that they definitely care to make your stay pleasant!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating... excellent location on a beautiful beach within walking distance to Pier and all the strip attractions and restaurants.. love that they are pet friendly! Thank you!

A special thank you to Caroline and Jess for a weekend spent in the sunrise suite. How we ended up in the beautiful spacious suite w a gorgeous view is not important. We enjoyed every moment. Huge sit in tub. Balcony is perfect for relaxing. Bed was cozy. There are dishes. All of the staff are very kind and accommodating. The cozy little cafe for breakfast is delicious but get there early or after 9. Beach access is right there and you can rent chairs and an umbrella. We had a lovely time and are so Grateful for how everything aligned.

This genuinely was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life, the hotel staff is so kind and helpful and was accommodating of everything I had to ask. I was so impressed by the owners they are husband and wife and I just absolutely loved everything about my stay. Me and my girlfriend have 2 dogs and they gave us a great dog friendly room looking right out on the beach, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. There is beach access right at the hotel, a great pool, they have their own restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable with AC and again dog friendly is huge. I am planning on coming back again and I would rate it higher if I could! They also have bikes and beach chairs available which is just amazing, it’s very close to the pier only a few blocks over so you could take the bikes and ride down no problem. This was the best beach hotel experience I’ve ever had and I couldn’t have been more happy.

We called the Hotel directly with no interference with a booking agent. Got a great price on a beach front room. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Rooms are right off the ocean. I would highly recommend staying here.

Was far enough away from pier and touristy stuff that it was nice and calm, but close enough that it was an easy walk to that stuff. Staff was so nice! My room was perfect for me and the view of the ocean was wonderful…

I visited a friend staying there. The suite was beautiful. Enjoyed the indoor pool and ability to walk on to beach. Would recommend to friends and family coming to the area.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We brought our 6 children and they loved the indoor and outdoor pool. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who asks!

When you want to feel catered to it’s the place to go. It’s on the beach, they have an amazing little breakfast restaurant, indoor pool of the weather is bad. The List of amenities goes on. At the end of you stay you won’t want to leave. It is extremely clean, when it comes to hospitality they are at the top of the list.

The room was very clean and nice. The staff and owners treat you wonderful and it’s located on a beautiful area of the ocean with soft sandy beach and within walking distance to town and all the activities. We have stayed in numerous rooms over the years and like many others will continue to vacation there.

This Beach Resort is above and beyond my highest expectations. The nicest people, great food. Clean, comfortable rooms or suites and quite. The Alouette captures Maine’s laid back and simple life style, I love it here and will return over and over again.

The newly remodeled resort is the perfect place to bring the family. The spacious rooms, with upgraded amenities made for a very relaxing stay. The Alouette Resort is right on the beach which made for fantastic sunrise photos. The restaurant menu was delicious. The staff was beyond helpful with any concerns we had. I strongly recommend this establishment for a friendly home away from home.
