DESCRIPTION:ANNOUNCING THE2025 PINE POINT4th OF JULY PARADE & KIDS’ FUN RUN\nFriday\, July 4th 2025Pine Point\, Scarborough. Maine\nPine Point will once again be celebrating the 4th of July with our Annual Parade and “Fun Run” for kids (ages 3 to 13).\nRegistration for the Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m. at Engine 4 Firehouse\, 12 King St.\nThe “Fun Run” begins at 8:45 a.m. from the Fire Station and will end ¼ mile down King St. to Hurd Park (the municipal parking lot\, 64 King St). The kid who finishes first in the Fun Run will carry the American Flag and lead the parade. Every kid is a winner in our race and all will be presented with a very cool gold medal.\nThe Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. starting at Hurd Park and finishing at the Engine 4 Firehouse.\nPrizes will be awarded for the “a unique or unusually creativley decorated”… child\, bike\, wagon\, and dog in the parade. Those chosen will be announced at the end of the parade and receive their gift.\nThe winner of the Fun Run and the Grand Marshall will also be announced at the Fire Station.\nEveryone is invited to enjoy complimentary traditional Strawberry Shortcake served inside Engine 4 firehouse.\nPlease spread the word and share this post so we have the greatest participation in our 22 year history.\nDonations gratefully accepted at the Shortcake Tables.\nPlease check here by 7:30 am for weather determination.
