The best part was the complimentary breakfast, with options ranging from French toast to egg sandwich. The staff in the restaurant were amazing and very friendly both times. We happened to go at Easter and a waitress was dressed in the Bunny costume, handing out eggs. Highly recommend visiting.
First of all, we loved this place. Family oriented. Clean and friendly.
The breakfast was the best part. If you go between 7am and 8am you'll usually run into Bruce who is a local. He's a character. Between hackings, I wasn't sure if I'd be required to do chest compressions on the poor fellow. My guess is that once upon a time he got his toast burnt because he mentioned it about 4 or 5 times.
Bruce just adds to the atmosphere. We were there during a storm where the waves pushed into the parking lot. The girl that checked us in was friendly and helped us order a pizza as we checked into our room after driving 11 hours. Also, the girl that checked us out was friendly as well. Her dog was cute!!!
We will be back, just not sure when.
Coast Visit in Winter There is no bad time to be at the coast!!! Staying at Alouette in March was super easy, warm, cozy. Alouette is one of the few hotels open year round in Old Orchard. We love that we were upgraded to a large suite with excellent views of the ocean the moment we woke up. It was a super cozy, warm, spacious suite. There was on site breakfast which was complimentary this time of year; staff were dressed up for St. Patrick's and were super energized and fun. We have stayed at Alouette several times before. It never disappoints!!! 
Lovely Resort Awesome customer service, the beach webcam was also a terrific touch giving us an idea of how busy the beach was and that state of the water! Lovely place even when tourism is supposed to be "high", still felt private and first class. 10/10 will be back next year if not sooner. Thank you Alouette! Wonderful The accommodations were amazing especially in light of the fact that a member of our party is an amputee. The cafe food and service was superior to most hotels in the area. Old Orchard Beach is astounding, even in January! We will definitely return. 
Nice place to stay
We just arrived today. The door to our room was very hard to open/close. I asked if we could have another room. Without any hesitation they put us in another room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The room was amazing and clean.
I had a beach view, which was great to just sit and look at. My room was well furnished and had everything I needed. The staff was wonderful and very personable. I would definitely stay again.
Beautiful location.
Was far enough away from pier and touristy stuff that it was nice and calm, but close enough that it was an easy walk to that stuff. Staff was so nice! My room was perfect for me and the view of the ocean was wonderful…
The suite was beautiful
I visited a friend staying there. The suite was beautiful. Enjoyed the indoor pool and ability to walk on to beach. Would recommend to friends and family coming to the area.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was wonderful.
The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We brought our 6 children and they loved the indoor and outdoor pool. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who asks!
Highly recommend staying at The Alouette Resort.
When you want to feel catered to it’s the place to go. It’s on the beach, they have an amazing little breakfast restaurant, indoor pool of the weather is bad. The List of amenities goes on. At the end of you stay you won’t want to leave. It is extremely clean, when it comes to hospitality they are at the top of the list.

The room was very clean and nice. The staff and owners treat you wonderful and it’s located on a beautiful area of the ocean with soft sandy beach and within walking distance to town and all the activities. We have stayed in numerous rooms over the years and like many others will continue to vacation there.
